Fort Myers on February 4 & 5, 2012 from 10 to 5 each day. Each
year Fort Myers’ only free, two day art extravaganza, decorates
our downtown with exceptional artwork, entertainment and
children’s art activities. You can talk to the artists – you
can view the work of over 200 fine artists in a single weekend –
you can introduce your children to the magic of original art.

The 21st Annual mullet tossing championship
Saturday
February 04, 2012
As in years past, contestants and spectators alike
can expect some fierce competition along with record distance throws. Ice
cold beverages, grilled food and smoked Mullet will be available for folks to
enjoy. There will be awards for each of the division winners. Come throw some
fish and have some fun! This is a nonprofit fundraiser benefiting local
charities. Come have some fun! No coolers or pets please.

Cape Bike Night
Saturday February
12th
On 47th Terrace between Coronado and
Vincennes
Come out for an evening of bikes, live music, great food and
beverages, local vendors, and lots of fun. This is free to the
public as a street fair. It typically draws between 10 & 15,000
people for this event! Come and enjoy the live music, food,
beverages, vendors, and lots and lots of bikes of all kinds.

Southwest Florida Burrowing Owl Festival
Saturday
February 25th
At Rotary
Park in Cape Coral. Join us in
celebrating Cape Coral's official city bird, the Burrowing Owl,
and other natural resource treasures. Cape Coral is home to
Florida's largest population of the burrowing owl, a species of
special concern. Activities will include live birds of
prey presentation, a live interactive butterfly tent exhibit,
wildlife educational speakers, native plant sales and van tours
to burrowing owl sites. There will be lots for the kids to
do and learn, too!
