She found her calling in the massage industry by chance at a health job fair,
where she met a representative from a massage school and was drawn to her
instantly. Next thing she knew, Deb was enrolled and started her schooling. She
is still giving help to others, and enjoys the fact that this is much
different and more rewarding than in her medical field days. Now,
instead of checking blood pressure and taking blood, she is caring for
people through her touch and energy. She not only a massage therapist, she is
also a licensed massage instructor, training others to help people.
Debra contends "My business is so unique... we truly care about each and every
one that walks through our doors. If I did not have a mortgage to pay I would
have a free clinic. I believe in the power of touch and the mind-body-spirit
connection. We have so much to offer people to reduce
both physical and emotional pain. We can balance the body and spirit. In these
times, when stress is so high, people need the power of touch. That is why we
offer a variety of services such as Thai Massage, Ahhh....and Shiatsu, and we offer them
at great discounts because I believe that massage
is not a luxury, it is a necessity to help remain stress free. Each therapist
specializes in a modality and we try to fit and accommodate each client with
the right therapist. Stress is the initiator of all illness and disease. Can

Along with massage, Contour Body Works also offers complete spa services
including permanent makeup, herbal body wraps, men's & women's facials,
microdermobrasion, eyelash extensions, waxing, spider vein and skin tag
removal, cellulite reduction, and lymphatic drainage. She has recently added
deep tissue laser therapy for back pain, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, TMJ
pain, arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis pain, migraines, muscle injuries,
plantar fasciitis and joint pain. This is a full service day spa. |
She believes a business should be run like in the old days; with attention to
customer service, attention to detail, and the idea of taking pride as reward for

In her spare time, (when her husband Bob can drag her away from the shop), Deb
likes to boat and bike and dance. She also likes to spend time at the beach

Deb is an ABMP Associated Member, works with many, many charities, and is a
member of the Unity of Fort Myers and a Fort Myers Beach Chamber member.
