MEET KIMBERLY C MORRIS,
Attorney At Law
-
Jones, Haber & Rollings
Kim
is a Georgia native, and she received her bachelor’s degree from
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she
majored in English. Next, she attended law school at the
University of Georgia in Athens. After completing the
three-year program and passing the Georgia bar exam, she served
for four years as a criminal prosecutor in Georgia. She enjoyed
being in the courtroom almost every day and gained trial skills
during those years.
During those years in Georgia, Kim met her future husband, who
was attending a Presbyterian seminary near Atlanta. After he
graduated, they married and moved to Greensburg, Kentucky where
he served as a minister of two churches. Kim passed the
Kentucky bar exam and began a general practice with a local
attorney.

She handled many types of cases, and even had the opportunity to serve as
city attorney and as trial commissioner. After having children, the couple
wanted to be closer to family in Sarasota and in Orlando, so her husband
accepted an offer to pastor a church in Dade City, Florida. Kim passed the
Florida bar exam and began practicing with Mander Law Group in Dade City.
For over 16 years Kim focused her practice primarily on injury and wrongful
death. At the beginning of 2016, Kim and her husband moved to Lee County so
that he could pastor a church in south Fort Myers. Kim is glad to call Lee
County her permanent and forever home!

Kimberly Morris
joined the law firm of Jones, Haber & Rollings in 2016, and enjoys
being a part of the Cape Coral and SWFL community. |
Kim represents
injured victims in negligence cases and families when there has been a
wrongful death. She also prepares estate planning documents for clients,
including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, designations of health
care surrogate, and living wills. When a family loses a loved one, Kim
meets with them to provide representation for probate or trust
administration. She gives each client her personal attention as she guides
them through the legal process and protects their rights.
During a free
initial consultation, Kim gives her clients the benefit of her knowledge and
experience. She will provide an honest evaluation of their legal matter
and will provide a plan of action. She takes her obligation to her clients
seriously and tries to make the experience of meeting with an attorney as
easy as possible. She meets with clients at her office in Cape Coral and
also can schedule appointments in Fort Myers, in client’s homes, and at the
hospital when necessary.
Kim is a member
of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce and is on the Chamber board and
executive committee. She is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association,
the Southwest Florida Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Justice
Association, and the Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky Bar Associations. She
is active in her church, where she occasionally plays hand bells and
clarinet.
In her time away from her office, she
enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog, playing with her cats, reading,
keeping up with her kids, and enjoying time with her husband, going out to
eat, and visits with friends. She also readily admits has a penchant for
ice cream!
