Mark Torocco was born in Fort Myers, Florida in 1966.  He attended Cypress Lake High and Edison Community College.  While working for Publix as a bag boy, he met his wife, Lynn, who was a customer at his Publix.  They started dating and in 1989 they were were married. 

While attending the University of Central Florida, Mark discovered the HVAC trade.  After his completion at UCF, he proceeded to go to Lee County Vo Tech to learn the "trade side" of the the industry.  He won several awards and placed 2nd in the state at the VICA Conference.  He worked as lead tech at various commercial A/C companies so he could learn all aspects of the trade by working on residential, commercial and industrial air conditioning and commercial refrigeration.

In 2010 Mark applied for and passed the State Contractors Exam.  After passing and earning his Class A License, he started the company that bears his name.  He is proud that all of his service professionals, installers and office support staff are dedicated to bringing a higher quality of service. Mark and his crew take a great deal of pride and care in ensuring that your HVAC system is fixed right the first time. Some unscrupulous companies try to convince customers that their air conditioning system is irretrievably broken and they require a new system. Mark knows that under most circumstances this is not true,  and the highly trained techs from Torocco's will be able to fix the problem.  Of course, if you do need a new unit, they will make sure you get the right one to meet your needs at a price you can afford!

Torocco's Cooling and Heating not only services residential and commercial customers, but also specializes in commercial refrigeration.  Regardless of who you are, if you have a problem, Torocco's will be there 24 hours a day 7 days a week to get you back up and running and fixed right the first time at the right price.

Mark and Lynn have 3 children.  Adam, their oldest son,  plans to enter in to the HVAC trade with his father and is currently going to trade school.  Mark has spent several years teaching  at the Tri County Apprenticeship Academy and at the Lee Vocational Technical School, were he taught air conditioning and refrigeration.  Mark hires promising apprentices from these programs and gives them further training and practical experience with competent mechanics until they demonstrate that they are ready to go out on their own.  He also sponsors deserving young people by assisting with tuition payments at the apprenticeship academy.

In his spare time, Mark loves his old boat and fishing.  Actually, he loves almost anything to do with the outdoors. Mark is a Master Mason and is involved in the Shriners.   Mark and Torocco's puts back into the community by sponsoring youth soccer and little league as well as high school sports.  As animal lovers, Mark and Lynn also put back by sponsoring PAWS of Lee County to help people who cannot afford it get proper health care for "best friends".
